On the whole FL blames Apple for this. Before owning a smartphone, how are you supposed to know how many gb you will need to support your healthy dependance on 20 different apps. It’s not our fault we grew up in a consumer driven society and have attention spans as short as Donald Trump’s privates. We need all these apps. We need ALL these apps. Apple, we resent you for selling us products that don’t let us have them.
Don’t worry though folks, some heros over in the States are sorting this situation out for us. You just need to get yourself an I-Dime. These small, penny sized devices just suck themselves to the back of your phone, and provide you with extended storage. Now instead of only being able to take one selfie at a time, you can take the 100,000 you wanted to take in one go, and compare to find the best one.
Starting at £36 for a 32 GB, FL thinks the pricing could be a lot worse. If you bought the model of your phone with more storage, it would probably cost you an extra tenner a month on your contract. So this should be a lot more economical in the long run. The positives are that it transforms into a USB key and dock for phones very easily, making moving data extremely easy. It also seems to behave as some sort of battery charging device when you need it too. The negatives are you seem to need to buy a cover to go with it, and also that it’s not out yet. Currently featured Kickstarter it’s smashed it’s fundraising target out the park so FL is hopeful it will go away and spend that on bringing this to the UK ASAP.
